Tom Vialle believed that a top-three finish in Foxborough could be earned, long before the green flag waved in Massachusetts. In the days prior, tireless work was put forth by he and team to excel for Saturday night's main event, but the process of making it to the starting grid for the finalé was anything but easy. After a thorough practicing effort, he would click into gear for heat two where numerous riders were set to oppose him. However, a valiant effort was instantly presented as he captured the fifth-place position on lap one, and proceeded to weave through the course with fluidity. Taking advantage of the (relatively) optimal SX circuit, his advancement through the sand was enough to be a catalyst of sorts for him to obtain third, after making moves on Daxton Bennick and Casey Cochran. Vialle could see Coty Schock not far ahead, but the ClubMX Yamaha rider was accelerating at a phenomenal rate. Max Anstie, as well, was at the front of the pack...but the KTM opponent continued to chip away at the lead that was generated by the British rider. Once the final few laps came to fruition, it was Tom who resided in third and remained composed - exiting the raceway here once obtaining the checkered flag. Into the main event, he and twenty-one other combatants would plunge. Though the battles were tight, he managed to corral a standing of second in the initial stages. The hunt for higher positioning was on, however, as he zeroed-in Haiden Deegan's rear wheel...but the Yamaha rider was riding at a stellar pace, with Kawasaki's Cameron McAdoo pressuring him with a relentless spirit. It would be on the fourth circuit, where McAdoo's momentum was too much for Vialle to try and keep at bay - when the Iowa native presented a magnificent block pass (on the French rider) just moments before the finish line...which diverted Tom to third, in the running order. From that point onward, Vialle would do his best to replicate the pace that was presented by both, Yamaha and Kawasaki riders ahead; but Vialle was just a slight, bit off of the pace compared to the two combatants who were in the foreground. Knowing that the championship was his ultimate goal, Vialle remained calm under pressure...eventually crossing the checkered flag with a third-place residency in hand, generating a notable summary of points on the evening.
