TOM VIALLE | GRIT-210 | SX 250

There was little room for error on this Arlington circuit, but the precision of Tom Vialle would be an outlying factor throughout the day as lap-times were etched into the Supercross record books. Doing his best to cement his KTM machine inside the top-eighteen, the task would be completed with an exceptional prowess prior to moving forward to the three-part main event championship that followed. As the lights grew brighter, he would amplify his aptitude when fighting for fourth on the first circuit, knowing that time was valuable in these condensed segments of racing. Hunter Lawrence was leading the field around, and seemed to have quite the set of pathway(s) established near the finish-line; but his process of tripling through, wasn't far off (especially as they entered in laps four and five). Spraying roost onto the concrete floor around the outskirt(s) of the raceway, lurking in the background would be none other than Jeremy Martin who showed significant speed in Tampa just two weeks ago. But his mentality remained resilient when flying over the tunnel-jump, and would keep him steady pulling as the white-flag was being waved on the horizon. He was furthest from surrendering the fifth-place position, and made sure to hug various insides when they neared the final obstacle on the circuit. Racing to a fifth-place score (behind Jordon Smith) the game-plan would then remain intact for the following bout as well. Ruts had now hardened across the raceway, with a multitude of options presenting themselves in the corner before the whoops and the "SX" triple, where the relentless, Cullin Park would come just inches away from his clipping his rear tire! The tension between both of the athletes was rising with every passing moment, and the feud for ninth was on with less than three minutes remaining on the clock. Maintaining composure when pummeling the toughest obstacles (including the dragon's back), his final finish of ninth would be hard-earned with the finalé in the foreground. His start to the last moto of the day was admirable, and garnered a position he could work from when viewing the pathway to a top-four overall. Letting the chassis sway to the side as he attempted to track down Jeremy Martin, the fight for relevance in the top-five was imminent and created quite the quarrel between the series challengers. Four laps, five laps, and six laps would go down in the registry, with his maintaining of a position inside the top three seeming more and more likely. And with crashes from various members of the top portion of the field (including Nate Thrasher and Jordon Smith), Vialle's consistent ways would eventually propel him to second for this moto! Equating to a magnificent fourth-place overall.
