SETH HAMMAKER - GRIT 241 250SX
May 18, 2024 · Seth Hammaker

GRIT-241 | 250 SX
The Pennsylvanian returned to the racetrack once more while stationed in Dallas, believing that he could compete amongst the best in the division as all was said and done for Saturday evening. To begin the practice quest(s), Hammaker displayed a remarkable ability to pre-load the suspension into the start straightaway rhythm lane...narrowly missing the steepest of knuckle(d) landings while maintaining a tremendous flow in the singles that followed, which promoted him higher and higher in the standings as practice went on. Eventually acquiring a strong gate choice for the second heat race, it would be he and Nicholas Romano who feuded over the first place position to begin divisional round in the night show. Maintaining the runner-up designation through the second lap, his teammate Cameron McAdoo along with Pierce Brown were both on the charge per se...making their way around, though Brown would have a mistake that enabled Hammaker to retain third. Now into a standing that was just behind Romano, Seth would do everything possible to pressure the rookie into a mistake...revving the engine of his Kawasaki to its loudest point(s), but Romano wasn't going to fold under pressure. Therefore as the checkered flag waved, Hammaker secured the third-place residency and advanced to the main event with confidence. For the finalé, Seth's initial position of fourth would heighten to a result of third as the three laps were completed - making a pass on Romano at the conclusion of the whoop section. However, McAdoo was knocking at the door yet again while persistently looking for ways to clinch the third-place position...though Hammaker displayed resilient grit while carving amongst the middle line(s) of particular bowl(ed) turns. Cameron eventually would make the pass on the fifth lap which diverted Seth to fourth, where he sustained a prominent standing for the majority of the remaining moto. Though Tom Vialle also would make his way by, creating an advancement around the fourteenth circuit which descended Hammaker into a fifth-place residency...which seemed to be a final standing, until Hammaker's teammate (i.e. Forkner) suffered a devastating crash that promoted the Pennsylvanian into fourth place once and for all. Though bummed for his fellow Kawasaki rider, Seth proceeded to power to the final double inside of the top five...taking a fourth place standing into round eight of the Monster Energy Supercross Series.
