SETH HAMMAKER GRIT-226 250MX

SETH HAMMAKER | GRIT-226 | 250MX

The Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki rider would continue to "wow" fans of the sport, after a spectacular showing in Buchanan, Michigan just seven days ago. Seth Hammakerwould quickly rekindle his speed(s) of sandy terrain, when exploding onto the racetrack for practice; doing everything he could, to gather speed amongst never-ending loam. Sweeping from side to side on the Massachusetts landscape, Pennsylvania's Hammakerwould continue to bring an equated energy into the main event(s) that followed. Once the green flag was then cast for the initial main event of the afternoon, the Kawasaki rider would infiltrate a position that contended for the lead while eventually settling for third when passing the green flag. His aspirations were seen by all in attendance, with the number thirty-five launching from the deepest of valleys with his rear wheel spinning; refusing to slow down while attacking every facet of the racetrack. There would eventually be a tandem of riders who were trying to overtake him as they passed the halfway point, with Hammaker defending his position of third with all of his might, while RJ Hampshire and Hunter Lawrence attempted to work their way around. His stance of defense was admirable, but RJ would eventually push passed with just over thirteen minutes remaining on the clock...with Lawrence seeking to follow. The Honda athlete would do so, over the two largest singles on the far side of the track...and Hammaker's tip over (amid the switchbacks near the Buckley Berm) wouldn't help anything in regard to the Pennsylvanian moving forward. Hammaker would rebound quickly though, only to falter slightly as riders like Haiden Deegan, Levi Kitchen, and Jo Shimoda would pass him. He was far from discouraged however, and still kept in mind that he had just returned to this series - as he occupied seventh for a final moto score. For the following moto of round six in the Northeast, the Pro Circuit athlete would do his best to compete with the same intensity that was shown earlier in the day. Humid conditions would "zap" the energy of most in the field, however this Kawasaki competitor remained extremely aggressive as laps would amass in the mid-afternoon hours. His initial claim to third place in the moto-two standings would be held until lap six, when he was passed by Justin Cooper. RJ Hampshire was then the next opponent to work his way around, however Hammaker was confident that he could stay within striking distance of the native Floridian; which occurred, as Hammaker would be towed from the pace of the number twenty-four into the final stages of the race. Though there was little room for error on this circuit at "The Wick," Hammaker proceeded to engage in mistake free laps en route to the checkered flag - scoring a fifth-place outcome, for fifth overall in the final standings as well.
