PIERCE BROWN - GRIT 234 250SMX

PIERCE BROWN | GRIT-234 | 250 SMX

Feelings of adrenaline and excitement encompassed the LA Memorial Coliseum venue as practice would begin on both Friday and Saturday, to conclude the SMX Playoff series. The narrative to the 250cc classification had been absolutely electric, with Utah's Pierce Brownconstantly in the mix while striving for top-ten finishes, regardless of which particular layout the series was embarking on. And much was the case as the blueprint(s) of this Los Angeles circuit were often categorized in more of an "SX" style format...despite whoops seemingly being omitted from the racing canvas. Therefore as he attacked the circuit for lap number one of the main event, the endless amount of scrubbing and compressing the suspension as a means to stay low would be imminent when seeking to gain as many position(s) as possible. The sweeping corner after the mechanic's area was a definitive strongpoint in his arsenal of offensive weaponry, where he would rail the outside lane with endless aggression while keeping the chassis of the GasGas 250Fascending at just the right power output. There was little that could stop him from distancing himself from California's Dilan Schwartzwho initially pursued him, despite the halfway point coming to fruition and fatigue beginning to set in on behalf of many of his opponents. But even with time continuing to pass there was no lessening effort presented by Brownwith the checkered flag becoming nearer and nearer. And as the eighteen-lap contest eventually came to a conclusion, the eighth-place standing would be earned on his behalf. He was looking to make optimal adjustments with the track becoming slicker in the following round of action, and as he swiped his goggles for clear vision when clearing the finish-line after the first full lap, it was a position of sixththat would be garnered; which was one of his strongest positions of initiation, thus far in the latter stage of the season. Leaping outside of the stadium after hitting the abrupt lip at full speed, his means of throttling through the flat corner that followed would be paramount as he distanced his machine from KTM's Maximus Vohlandwho trailed, but remained within striking distance. The margin between the two opponents was steadily growing, but there couldn't be any absence of charging presented if he wanted to ultimately secure a position that warranted a top-ten overall...therefore over the final six minutes of action, the tank of aggression would be emptied on behalf of Brownas he raced toward the event's conclusion. And as all was settled in Los Angeles, his final moto score of fifth (after keeping RJ Hampshire at bay)would be enough to capture a tremendous seventh-place overall in the final standing(s).
