MIKE ALESSI- 2023 March Amateur Coverage MPG

With one of the strongest resumés in the history of amateur motocross racing, the number 800 of Mike Alessi would yet again return to action to begin his quest for championships in 2023. Alessi had raced through last season at the height of the Junior (25+) class and seemed to pick up where he'd left off when attending the RC Daytona Amateur SX Championship in March. Battling with Dakota Kessler as they contended for a main event win, it was the native Californian who'd ultimately obtain gold in the aforementioned division; prior to generating a second-place run in the Vet (30+) class, to New Jersey's Kessler.
