MAXIMUS VOHLAND - GRIT 234 250SMX

MAXIMUS VOHLAND | GRIT-234 | 250 SMX

KTM's Maximus Vohlandhad been generating immense esteem as of late, and proceeded to roll into the facility of the LA Memorial Coliseum with an intent to capture an overall finished that would be recognized by all in the industry. Therefore as fans viewed his precise scrubbing technique from afar, there were countless who stared in disbelief when he landed from the "SX" triple and proceeded to fly through the next left-handed corner with confidence. After rhythmically hopping his way to the finish-line thereafter, it was Vohlandwho did much the same to begin the opening outing of the evening. Doing his best to flick the chassis of the KTM over the tunnel jump with a means of staying low, Maximuswould land with a furious charge of sorts while tackling the uphill that followed. Upon entering the stadium over the course of the next few laps, his ability to remain atop the foot-pegs before leaping into the sand section was crucial as he aspired to keep both, Talon Hawkins and Levi Kitchen behind him. It was the number forty-three was persistent in his process of trying to overtake Vohland in the latter stages...and though Maximus knew the skill that the Washington native possessed, his fortitude was enough to defend (and retain) the ninth-place position as the eighteen-lap event concluded. Round two wasn't long thereafter, and the KTM athlete proceeded to remain polished upon the hard-packed terrain that had now developed for the majority of the racing surface. Feathering the clutch to negate the rear wheel spinning, his process of putting power to the ground in the corner after the finish-line would be spectacular while RJ Hampshirepursued him. It was a process of pinpointing his marks when proceeding into the seventh and eighth laps of the moto, where any miscalculation in weight distribution would result in a subsequent crash or loss of position. Nevertheless, he kept the standing in his possession as minutes continued to tick...though Hampshire was becoming awfully close in the latter stages of the event. It was all Vohland could do to keep the MXON candidate behind him, with Hampshire constantly pursuing inside ruts that would force Vohland to drift wide. And even with Maximus' brilliant effort, the veteran would possess enough speed to make his way around just before the checkered flag...this caused Vohland to descend in the running order to seventh - which was still an astounding result that equated to ninth in the record book, just ahead of teammate, Tom Vialle.
