The consistency of Malcolm Stewart was a trait that had him excelling throughout all three moto's of competition while residing in the Midwest. The Husqvarna rider was undeniable in terms of speed on the motorcycle, and put forth an incredible effort while taking the green flag for the opening round of racing for round twelve of the "SX" championship. He occupied tenth, but quickly advanced to seventh where he and Cooper Webb would feud in front of thousands of fans. The battle was respectable, but intense between both opponents; racing bar-to-bar amongst rhythm lanes, and corners alike. He would defend the position from Webb, after a series of slight mistakes were made on both riders behalf - but it was ultimately the Yamaha rider that prevailed on lap seven, moving past Stewart once and for all. The battle then began between Malcolm and Justin Barcia, with the New York native beginning to fade as the checkers flag neared...and though Malcolm's valiant attempts of overtaking the GasGas rider were notable, he wasn't able to work his way around the amateur rival as the checkered flag was thrown - ending the race in seventh as competitors exited the raceway. For the following portion of racing, Malcolm completed the first full lap in eleventh, but moved ahead of Vince Friese to claim a position in the top-ten not long thereafter. He excelled behind Hunter Lawrence at that time, replicating the Honda rider to the best of his ability...which, kept the Husqvarna athlete ahead of names like Barcia, Justin Cooper, and Shane Mcelrath throughout the final quarter of the moto. Ultimately ninth, as all would cease, his advancement to the third-moto appeared optimal. Beginning this particular platform of competition in seventh, he and Aaron Plessinger would partake in a commendable battle...as two of the crowd favorites gave it their all while sweeping from inside to outside and vice versa. The constant change of positions was incredible to see, and though Malcolm was unable to place his Husqvarna ahead of the opponent's KTM, the speed that the native Floridian showcased was one of undeniable regard. In the final stages, the feud between McElrath, Stewart, and Justin Cooper was rather close...but Malcolm ultimately resided eighth as the race was set to conclude - finalized in seventh overall as a result, which reiterated his skill on the motorcycle against world-renowned competition!
