KTM's Julien Beaumer could never be counted out...regardless of the genre of racing (i.e. SX/MX) or the conditions a particular circuit was in. For Unadilla, the layout would promote high speeds and force athletes to maneuver their machine among a variety of differing angles...including off-cambered corners, extensive downhills and uphills, along with ruts that varied in lengths and depths. However, regardless of what was presented to the athlete from Arizona, he seemed to flourish - which helped him earn a starting position of thirteenth in the earliest stages of moto-one. The fight to infiltrate the top-ten was rather tough, but Beaumer was willing to combat tactics by other riders, along with extensive roost that was thrown on the high-speed circuit. As new lines began to form, Beaumer's vision was a definite strong suit of his arsenal and led to incredible lap-times being generated - all the while, he remained stylish with his KTM machine maneuvering through the air, scrubbing the double after the finish-line jump with an authoritative flick before funneling into the switchback section that followed. Each landing on the circuit was down-side(d) and it was evident that the technical SX prowess of Beaumer was translating to the Unadilla terrain as the finish-line neared. His once battle with Dilan Schwartz, Casey Cochran, and then Daxton Bennick would eventually equated to advanced positions - trailing Utah's Pierce Brown by only a small margin at the checkered flag, while also keeping Ty Masterpool at bay en route to receiving eighth place honors. For the second moto, Beaumer's sweeping through the first corner and accompanying first lap would aid a registering of sixth, among a fierce pack of opposing racers. Beaumer couldn't be denied when charging into the corners just before the flyaway jump, as he weighted the outside foot-peg when carving from right to left as a means of toppling many established grooves. His routes always seemed to efficient which equated to energy being saved...and as the idea of fatigue became more relevant, Beaumer appeared to remain steady and sufficient within the crowd of competitors. He would remain in sixth through the eighth circuit, before being surpassed by Garrett Marchbanks...and despite undergoing battles with Ty Masterpool and Max Anstie, the newcomer to the 250MX division would be applauded as he charged to the final obstacles of this fifteen-lap contest...earning a tenth-place score for this moto, and ninth overall, as action at Unadilla concluded.
