The Triple Crown format was a sequence of events, that was arguably as demanding as any other racing format in the realm of motorsports. It was evident that the three-stage process was exhausting on riders, as the day wore-on amid Saturday's festivities; though Jeremy Martin portrayed the tenacity of an elite warrior as laps continued to amass through both practice and main event sequences. After qualifying in a superb manner, the grid would be loaded for the first main event of the evening. Hunter Lawrence was out front, and riding at a phenomenal pace, proving as to why he's considered one of the best in the division. He wasn't going to let doubt stop him from infiltrating into the top-six, however, and would proceed to blast into the litany of obstacles that preceded the finish-line double. There were multiple instances where Michael Mosiman (who was within milliseconds) of his rear wheel would plunge toward the inside of the right-handed corner that was beneath the tunnel...nearly clipping the swing-arm with his front-wheel on multiple occasions. But he wouldn't waver with his momentum and barreled into the right-hander that followed in the attack position. Staying centered atop the foot-pegs as he blasted through the dragon's back, you could tell his upper body was prepared for the sudden "buck" that accompanied the rear wheel leaving the obstacles highest point. That picture, would summarize his efforts for the first moto, where he rallied to a sixth-place standing for the opening go-around. The second showcase, would rival the chaos of the first episode; where Jordon Smith was the opponent that all in the field were gunning for. A mishap on the opening circuit would have him deterred in twenty-second, but the relentlessness of the Minnesota native was put on display for all to see. Gunning for furthered position(s) on each passing lap, Martin would claw his way to twelfth by the time the checkered flag was thrown. This led to the finalé, where his front-end would want to wash when cutting left after the final three whoops. The berm had now gone adrift, with deceiving pockets of powder luring him to the outside; though he wasn't going to be claimed as a victim (which occurred for multiple riders throughout the field). Racing with a fearless attitude, he constantly let the engine of the Yamaha machine bark while tripling through the rhythm lane before the finish-line. Steadily, his top-five standing would grow closer to the pinnacle; with Nate Thrasher and Jordon Smith both falling victim to mistakes, which allowed Marin to infiltrate the lead in the closing moments of the moto! It was quite the story of triumph for all of what Martin had been through, and as he led the final lap with style, it was certainly a feel-good moment for all involved with the ClubMX Team; as their hard-work earned a victory, and sixth-place overall.
