JALEK SWOLL | GRIT-229 | 250MX
Being a former race winner, Husqvarna's Jalek Swoll would always aspire to return to victory lane. Swoll was extremely talent when competing aboard the motorcycle, and had proven that his prowess would translate to the outdoor circuit (i.e. High Point 2021) where he obtained the overall gold medal...and the desire to win even more had only heightened since then. Nevertheless, Swoll would fly onto the start straightaway for practice and secure a multitude of notable lap-times amongst the timing and scoring system, carrying a final standing of eighth into the main event(s) thereafter where he claimed an identical position (of eighth) as the first lap of moto-one was completed as well. Swoll's sense of staying power amongst the top-ten was phenomenal, where he staked his position in the aforementioned standing and wouldn't waver as minutes progressed. After the halfway point, he and New York's own, Justin Cooper, were riding at a similar level...and with Haiden Deegan and Seth Hammaker undergoing a bit of misfortune, the Floridian would eventually acquire sixth place! However, he was cognizant of Tom Vialle and RJ Hampshire who were surging forward in the positions behind him - glancing at their machines as they sped with aggressiveness amongst paralleled lanes. But when racing past the mechanic's area on the final two laps, Swoll would nod to his mechanic with a sense of confidence that couldn't be mistaken. Around the final left-handed corner he would hover to the inside, scrubbing the last step-down on the circuit prior to springing from the valley of the checkered flag - to claim sixth, amongst a stacked field of 250cc competition. Though the weather delay and red flag (on behalf of his teammate, RJ Hampshire) would be cast before moto-two truly began, Swoll's focus couldn't be rattled as the field stormed from the gate(s) once and for all. Though only managing a twenty-seventh position of initiation when passing the green flag, Jalek was capable of making passes extremely quickly, which was the case as the timer continued to expire. He was inside the top-twenty by lap seven, and would only climb higher as time would pass - doing his best to secure every point possible before the end of the moto. In the latter stages, Swoll would put his machine ahead of teammate Talon Hawkins, Preston Kilroy, and Caden Braswell...proving that his resiliency was some of the highest in all of the field. And with the hard-fought effort, his charge within the second-moto would equate to a fourteenth for the moto's standing and seventh overall, as well.
