The superb performances would continue for Triumph's Jalek Swoll. The Floridian was sensational upon rolling onto the track for practice, and would carve his way to a notable qualifying position of sixth as the field aligned on the grid for the first moto. As he then released the clutch of his TF 250-X machine, he dove into turn number one with all-out aggression - aiming for the highest of positions as he proceeded to sprint through the constant elevation change of his Maryland circuit. Into the corners he would fly, banking from berm to berm while cutting through established ruts that were trenched through practice...making his way into an initial standing of eleventh. He was seventh by the fourth lap, after passing opponents like Nicholas Romano and Coty Schock, among others, with his sights set on constantly striving for the rear wheel of teammate Joey Savatgy. The Triumph duo appeared well in-tune with their motorcycles upon soaring from the largest leaps, landing among valleys and angles of various sorts while remaining rather polished aboard pristine suspension. The athlete aboard the number thirty-three machine was generating applause from the crowd, upshifting his way past the mechanic's area before toppling the step-up thereafter...bouncing his way through the rollers that followed with rhythm after making his way past the halfway point. He could sense that Pierce Brown had now infiltrated into the position far beyond his rear wheel, but the constant sight of seeing Savatgy, was enough to prolong motivation through the finish line. As all eventually concluded, it was Swoll who claimed sixth as he exited the raceway. The conditions of the raceway had grown more demanding as the field dispersed for moto two, but Swoll's vision was top-tier when analyzing the racetrack at high speeds. As he crested the largest of anthills, Jalek could somehow locate the smoothest lines upon returning to the racing surface - never letting go of the throttle en route to claiming an opening position around third. His output of speed never wavered, where he carried the third-place designation through the eleventh lap...proving that his stamina on the motorcycle was elite - all the while being pursued by France's Tom Vialle! The two would undergo a substantial battle, and though the KTM racer was able to make his way by, Swoll remained persistent on the chase to the finish line just behind the number sixteen. In the end, Swoll's final score of fourth place was admirable, and equated to fifth in the final standings as well!
