After months of developing the engine package and chassis set-up of the brand new Triumph off-road motorcycle, Jalek Swoll was assigned to the role of competing in the 250MX championship for the brand that developed the TF 250-X model. The talent of the Floridian was evident aboard the two-wheeled machine, and as his undeniable speed moved from the practicing circuit(s) to the racetrack in Southern California, Jalek was destined to make his way to the front of the pack. He would occupy a seventh-place position at the green flag before diving into the switchback corners thereafter, flying from berm to berm at the height of his RPM range with his clutch pulled in as well. Many could sense as the racing action grew more intense, the prowess of Swoll would amplify, too - leading to a sixth-place standing being garnered by Swoll that was just behind his teammate, Joey Savatgy. Mimicking days at the test track, Swoll adopted the patterns and line selection of the veteran racer aboard the same machine as he. They both, were trying to overtake Chance Hymas who was just ahead...and kept the Honda rider honest through the final laps of the moto. Five laps to go, four laps to go, and so on, would Swoll remain on the throttle while continuously proving the reliability of this Triumph machine. This eventually led to a sixth-place award being garnered at the finish line...just ahead of Jordon Smith and Jo Shimoda, before beginning the second place round. Once into the final segment of competition, Swoll would rocket from the starting grid to acquire third in the running order. He was just off the pace, of race leaders Haiden Deegan and Levi Kitchen. All the while, he was defending his claim from that of Nate Thrasher and Tom Vialle...who were persistent in their quests to overtake him, but Swoll was showcasing an incredible prowess aboard his number thirty-three machine. However, as time began to pass, a bit of fatigue due to extreme track demands began to set in for the Floridian. He was holding on for as long as possible, but began to drop within the running order a slight bit, as the final eight-minutes of action came to fruition. Losing spots to that of Vialle and Chance Hymas, Swoll would descend to fifth as the checkered flag was thrown - which was still an incredible performance, that had him residing in fifth (overall) as all concluded in Pala.
