With the series set to come to an end rather soon, Triumph's Jalek Swoll knew that an "all or nothing" mentality would have to be portrayed, in some aspects, in order to leave a lasting impression on the 2024 series. His opportunities to gain substantial points were coming to an end, but if his speed at previous rounds was indicative of the true talent he possessed, the athlete from Florida would have no problem in excelling amongst the top-ten as all was set to conclude in the main event. HIs expertise in practice was analyzed by enthusiasts in the chair backs, where fans of varying experience levels would point and marvel over his style on the Triumph chassis. His aptitude was evident too, when exiting the opening corner of the second heat race, where he fought alongside Gage Linville for sixth on the overall leaderboard. He capitalized on riders drifting rather wide, sneaking to the inside amongst the array of switchbacks where the dirt was tacky, and possessed an abundant level of traction for him to move forward amongst the top-nine. Hopping over various plateaus that were littered throughout the course, when landing, his chassis appeared rather flawless and allowed him to distance his machine from the aforementioned Georgia native who was only a little more than five bike lengths (or so) behind. The paralleled lanes on the track acted as opportunities for him to catch a glimpse of the previously noted opponent who trailed...but nothing could stifle him from earning sixth when crossing the checkered flag. For the finalé, the staff who announced the event would cheer and scream with enthusiasm as the top twenty-two East Coast 250SX pilots transitioned through the first few laps, with Swoll earning that of ninth, before shuffling in the latter portion of the top-ten in the initial stages. It was a grueling process of staying planted amongst the outside line(s) in the plethora of singles before the finish line double. The process of launching, landing, and then selecting a groove for the following corner could hardly be described...but he managed to continuously do so with a brilliant prowess while amplifying the margin between he and Henry Miller who then trailed, after swapping standing(s) with the Minnesota rider. Over the largest jumps (including the "SX" triple) he managed to compress the suspension with a valiant shove of the front-forks; floating through the air while revving the engine of his Triumph machine to its highest extent. And despite the traffic jam of sorts between he, Nick Romano, Chance Hymas, and Daxton Bennick, Swoll ultimately weathered the storm to combat the tactics of the majority of the field. He was resilient en route to the checkered flag at the end of the eighteen-lap quest, to be categorized in eighth as all was said and done.
