JALEK SWOLL - GRIT 242 250SX

GRIT-242 | 250 SX

Triumph's Jalek Swoll had showcased commendable speed throughout the year thus far in 2024. The Florida native was accustomed to the professional scene at this point, and proceeded to burst onto the Daytona layout with confidence and acclimation to racing at this level. Flowing through the section of jumps that was perpendicular to the start straightaway, Swoll caught the attention of various enthusiasts amongst the infield as he compressed the suspension to its fullest range of operation - rebounding with aggressiveness while proceeding to double and triple his way into the corner that followed. His aspirations for qualification eventually led him to garner a standing in heat one where he rounded the opening circuit while attempting to obtain as clear of vision, as possible. Florida's Swoll was capable of running a pace that could potentially be faster than anyone else on the roster, however for this particular sprint he would have to contend with Yamaha's Nicholas Romano while looking toward the halfway point. Hooking his way into the final corner before the finish line, racers of various positions were already seeking smooth lines on this challenging racecourse - though Jalek seemed to somehow manage the sharpest of edges and largest of pot-holes with remarkable angles, pivoting the Triumph chassis on a dime per se...even as Romano attempted to infiltrate the position he then sustained. Three minutes remained, two minutes, and so forth, until the latter portions of the white flag circuit were undergone - and as all was finalized in heat one, with the number thirty-three machine generating fifth before entering into the main event. With twenty-two of the divisions top racers diving into turns one and two, the operation and means to move forward by various factory riders was anything but easy. However, Swoll remained standing atop the foot-pegs and gripped the handlebars with tremendous strength, dictating where the chassis would go as he made his way into the initial whoop section. For circuits four and five, the gap between he and Daxton Bennick was rather close...but as time began to pass, Triumph's Swoll seemed to welcome a higher pace, that endured a bit more risk. On the seventh and eighth circuits, the number thirty-three scrubbed the out-bound tunnel jump with authority...landing with a commanding rev while battling with that of Coty Schock. Though the ClubMX Yamaha rider was able to move forward and around that of Swoll, Jalek continued to battle and endure the treacherous conditions while competing with veteran Max Anstie. Swoll represented the Triumph brand extremely well, and defended the seventh place position throughout countless surges from the British native when nearing the checkered flag...ultimately seventh, Swoll would exit the raceway representing in front of his home-state fans with a tremendous sense of speed.
