JALEK SWOLL | GRIT-231 | 250MX
Husqvarna's Jalek Swoll had been on quite the roll as of late, and reiterated that his talent level was top-tier as action began in Indiana for the final round of the AMA Pro Motocross Championship. The rider from Florida would qualify inside the top-twenty prior to leaping from the starting grid with a solid jump, and power around the first corner of moto-one amid a pack of distinguished racers while the field began to disperse. Sending the Husqvarna chassis flying from the largest downhill on the racing surface, Swoll was steadfast in his charge to the left-handed sweeper that followed; where he relinquished the need to apply his brakes while moving into eleventh by the fourth circuit. The red-plate holder (Hunter Lawrence) was riding rather efficient/conservatively with his movements on the motorcycle, creating an opportunity for Swoll to gain significant ground as they neared the halfway point. But Swoll was also being pursued by Levi Kitchen, who was furiously charging through the pack to try and regain as much ground as possible after suffering from a lackluster start. The situation was demanding in every facet, but Swoll thrived; leaping from the anthill just after the start with a fierce slamming of the chassis when descending to the roller thereafter, making an incredible strides forward while the timer continued to wind-down. This would be evident, even after losing a few positions - with his claim to a position in the running order that was ahead of championship contender, Justin Cooper. Even with the number thirty-two beginning to rev in the background (in the final moments), Swoll would never misfire...and instead, engaged in an even higher pace as the checkered flag neared. Eventually leaping through obstacles of the finish-line section on lap nineteen, it was Swoll who claimed fifth prior to moving into the second round of action. And once here, the performance by the Floridian was magnificent; where he completed the first lap in fifth and presented an array of solid lap-times on the circuits thereafter. However, Tom Vialle and Haiden Deegan would eventually move forward, shuffling Swoll to as far as eighth at one point before the number thirty-eight would partake in an astounding charge upon the rutted circuit. Using every bit of power possible to gain time on the pack(s) ahead, seventh would then be secured followed by fifth after passing Ryder DiFrancesco! He was incredibly maneuvering away around the circuit with Tom Vialle just ahead, as the timer neared zero...and with the fifth-place score being earned once and for all, Swoll's overall standing of seventh would undoubtedly be impressive given the magnitude of competition he was facing!
