JACKSON VICK - GRIT 232 65CC ALL-STARS

JACKSON VICK | GRIT-232 | 65CC ALL-STARS

With an exciting new championship placed upon the entirety of both motocross and Supercross industries, numerous additions would be presented on behalf of the SuperMotocross itinerary. And without a doubt, one of the most anticipated segments of the afternoon program would be that of the 65cc World All-Stars main event. The rider who sported the number seventy, Jackson Vick, had been spectacular in the multitude of practice sessions that had transpired in the hours before. And after securing a final position of third (in qualification) prior to beginning the main event finalé, the confidence of the KTM rider couldn't have been higher. The starting platform would be divided into two halves, a split-lane(d) sector that would lead to the pack converging on the straightaway before the finish-line where they were set to take the green flag. Vick would complete the first full lap in second, before making a brilliant pass on that of Gavin McCoy prior to the second circuit being finalized. Once into the lead, the number seventy would showcase strength and composure aboard the KTM chassis; where he scrubbed his way through the longest rhythm section on the track, with perfect timing amongst the doubles. Rounding the flat right-handed corner thereafter, his ability to soak up the rollers that preceded the "SX" triple would be phenomenal...and through a process that translated to his lead amplifying when passing the halfway point, Vick was seemingly into a flow of his own as the timer continued to expire. Though he couldn't let off the throttle as riders like Easton Graves were making substantial charges of their own - keeping him (Vick) focused on completing the layout corner by corner, while maneuvering through the large ruts that had been trenched throughout racing canvas. The track would also have a slick surface for the majority of its top soil, making every athlete on the racecourse mindful of their throttle control and brake application...but Vick was executing every task with perfection as he sprinted toward the final finish line double. The checkered flag was eventually thrown to indicate the conclusion of the moto, and with astounding style over the aforementioned enormous finish line leap, Vick would fly through the air with style - claiming victory on the highest stage in the sport, while being applauded by fans and sponsors alike that were gathered around the race-track and podium!
