A surplus of competition, along with a technical racetrack, would be the means of demanding trek to the front of the field for that of Haiden Deegan. The rider who hailed from California was willing to engage in whatever was thrown his way, however, and as he acquired an array of practice laps, it seemed to be that he was on specific trajectory to the top of the leaderboard. The crowd would applaud as he exited the raceway, and he seemed ready for the gate fall(s) that were on the horizon. Once firing from behind the metal bracket in the divisional round, he acquired a notable standing at the front of the pack while attempting to track down that of teammate Daxton Bennick who led. The battle between the two opponents was intense, with constant revving being displayed as a means of aggression and urgency...but Deegan did what was necessary to make the move stick, and inherit the lead with a plethora of laps to go. He wanted to make a statement, and would do just that as Tom Vialle was struggling to garner a transfer position! When it mattered most Deegan rose to the occasion...breaking away from the field while styling his Yamaha with elite finesse at the top of the leaderboard. Eventually taking the win, his confidence appeared to be at an all-time high with the championship still within reach! In the main event, as athletes rounded the first corner, the fight for first place was cast between Deegan and teammate Nicholas Romano. There was little room for error, and as he appeared to be solidified in the first place spot, and, his mechanic would relay signals as a means of awareness, motivation, and outlook for the rest of the main event. Sweeping through the right and left-handed bends after the "SX" triple, he powered onto portion of track thereafter with the insight to know that Jordon Smith was beginning to approach his rear wheel. Therefore, he proceeded to advance his pace and excel at a higher output of speed, hearing the roar from the crowd while trying to put forth some of the fastest lap-times of the day. The battle between the two teammates would come to a climactic point with less than two minutes on the clock, where Jordon Smith attempted to block pass the number thirty-eight in the corner before the finish line...but Smith would go down! Taking a look back, as he crested the final double, Deegan's gap over the then second place (i.e. Hampshire) seemed to be sufficient at that point, for the number thirty-eight to take the win.
