GRIT 311 — SMX NEXT — 9th — Seth Dennis
April 25, 2026 · Seth Dennis

This event was set to have thousands of fans in attendance, creating quite the atmosphere for members of the SM Next category. Seth Dennis managed to instantly portray an outstanding pursuit of lap-times through the dry conditions of practice. Through each berm, and the split-lane(d) area, he would carve with expertise. From there, he stormed ahead to the muddy, main event. Athletes aboard their machines would slide into turn number one.as chaos instantly ensued. Swipes at the goggle lens, for both tear-off and roll-off mechanisms, then ensued! Luckily, Dennis was agile enough on the motorcycle, to race to a seventh-place standing at the green flag. The Floridian, was most definitely showcasing his versatility - proving that he was much more than a sand rider, aboard this unrecognizable racetrack! Racers, would then align on the starting grid
- many, possessing an aggressive outlook for the laps ahead. Knowing what was at stake, Dennis then released his clutch as brackets collapsed, and he raced onto the course with little regard for fear. He was spectacular as rain continued to fall across the canvas, and he would do his best to leap through rhythm lanes (amongst dozens of deep trenches) when a lane would clear ahead of him. After occupying a seventh-place standing early, he would slightly move forward in the running order before undergoing a bit of a mistake on lap number three. He, Wyatt Thurman, Kayden Minear, and others, had all presented a similar pace — with Dennis looking rather strong near the finish line area. His ability to charge across the longe straightaway while minimizing his braking when storming into the corner thereafter, was top-notch. Dennis, then would continue his flow through the final stages of the race — again, battling with Thurman over the eighth and ninth-positions!
Wheel-spin, was something that all in the field would deal with - though with remarkable throttle control, Seth was able to power through the ice-like surface while lugging the engine with optimal torque. He knew that he resided at the front of the field, by the time the checkered flag was thrown...but when awarded with the ninth-place achievement, many in the stands of the Philadelphia stadium would applaud knowing that Seth had given it his all, for this spectacular SMX Next showcase.
