GRIT 311 — SMX NEXT — 6th — Alessando Carminati

Ale Carminati and his machine appeared to be in total synchronization, as practice transpired on Saturday.

Knowing that the course was set to be drastically different for the night show, he would choose to gather a multitude of strong lines and pathways (for his arsenal of tools) as qualifying took place. While scrubbing his way over the toughest obstacles, his strength aboard the chassis, could never be in question. His excellent trajectory was sustained as the SM Next Main event took place. The conditions, were some of pure chaos — though he managed to remained composed as rain would fall onto the canvas...residing in fifth as the green flag was thrown. The native of Mexico City was now excelling, within this premier, American championship! Though known for his skills on the outdoor circuit (throughout various styles of terrain), Carminati was excited to excel in front of thousands of fans in the Northeast. Though few, could predict how troublesome that track had become It would be covered, in moisture as the clouds continued to open-up though with an incredible spirit and will to succeed, he would surge on to the canvas, to collect a fifth-place standing in the running order! From there, he moved to as high as fourth, passing Will Canaguier Ill before undergoing a serious battle with Landon Gibson and Jesson Turner Jr. Carminati's speed, around the whoop-section was stellar - where he maintained an excellent output of velocity, when exiting the bend beforehand, while remaining constantly on the throttle throughout the moguls thereafter. Gibson and Turner Jr, would ultimately work their way past but not for lack of effort by Carminati! The talented athlete continued to bank from berm to berm while seeking for any dry piece of terrain he could find! The constant scanning, and willingness to explore outside pathways (just after the opening rhythm section) would prove to a pivotal tool within his arsenal. In the last two laps of the contest, he would monitor his gap over the multitude of high-caliber opponents who were behind him. The revs) from his competitors would begin to fade as he neared the finish line...putting forth an all-out dash when charging across the eventual, crest of the final double. In the end his efforts would equate to a notable sixth-place finish - proving that his racing trajectory, has no limit for the 2026 season, and years beyond!
