Through lap four, the Floridian seemed to establish an exceptional flow - accelerating amongst the deep ruts, with incredible balance. Though it was on lap five, where a slight mistake would force him into the eighth-place slot. Shane McElrath, would then pass him-forcing Malcolm into ninth. From there, a few more slight mistakes would force him outside of the top-ten... though Stewart was willing to fight, while striving to return to the highest tier of the field! He and Justin Barcia were then going bar-to-bar in the final stages, though it was Malcolm who accelerated ahead on the fifteenth lap! From there, he would remain in eleventh...through the checkered flag - however, with Dylan Ferrandis given a penalty of sorts, Stewart secured tenth on the overall leaderboard!
