February 21, 2026 · Coty Schock

The atmosphere in Arlington was incredible. Fans from the LoneStar State were excited to see their favorite stars of the sport in action, for this Military Appreciation event. Among them was Coty Schock, and he seemed to feed off of their enthusiasm as qualifying began on Saturday. This soil would have an abundance of traction at first and he was able to carve his chassis into the highest point of each berm with optimal lean angles. On many occasions, he would nearly clip the outer boundaries of the raceway, though all the while, he never let off of the throttle. Monstrous rhythm combinations would ensue as he linked together double and triple obstacles with relative ease. The nuances of his game were polished and fine-tuned, which led to remarkable lap times as all circuits were finalized in daytime qualifying. From there he embarked on the night show's festivities. After powering from the starting line, he accelerated into turn number one with little regard for fear. He then weaved through the opening lap with remarkable vision, which led to an opening standing of fourth (following the unfortunate red-flag restart). Athletes were bar-to-bar when leaping through the most technical rhythm lanes. His expertise was constantly revealed, especially as competitors such as Daxton Bennick were within a striking window per se. He did his best to remain amongst the loam of the course
- with a bit of top
soil being added in various aspect of the canvas. The mighty, tabletop-tabletop section was rather troublesome for many. Though with a brilliant combination of compressing the suspension and subtle clutch stabbing, he was able to leap over the difficult gap with brilliant maneuvering. His on-going rivalry with that of Bennick was remarkable.. though when roaring at the height of third gear aboard his respective machine, it was clear that he could surpass the Husqvarna athlete. This led to a phenomenal advancement on lap four, where Schock had definitively overtaken the third-place residency. The Yamaha rider was sensational through the gigantic triple, triple, quadruple line in the middle of the circuit — and his daring leaps would pay-off! In the end, Schock's continuous display of top-tier speed, led to third-place at the finish line being secured! For the finalé, Schock strove to excel for this Military Appreciation event. His momentum from the heat race was palpable, though he would have to combat immense traffic on the earliest lap while residing in the sixteenth-place standing. He knew he had the speed to work forward, and would do so in the following laps, passing opponents including Luke Neese and Jeremy Hand. Other members of the field would be overtaken as well and Schock's veteran aptitude was continuing to be portrayed as he occupied the eighth-place standing. After being passed by Cole Davies on lap ten, Coty instantly latched onto the rear wheel of the high-caliber competitor. In the circuits that followed Schock's momentum was undeniable -and helped him advance ahead of Cullin Park and Devin Simonson. As the checkered flag then waved on the twentieth circuit, it was Schock who possessed a relentless mentality and charged forward to claim seventh in the final standings.
