GRIT 302 — 250SX — 9th — Parker Ross
February 14, 2026 · Parker Ross

As practice began on Saturday, a multitude of competitors immediately gauged in the highest speeds possible.
A tone had been set, so to speak. Though many athletes on the roster believed that they could impact and contend for maximum accolades. Among them was Parker Ross. He immediately looked to be comfortable on the Seattle circuit. Ruts were now filling the trenches as multiple bikes would pass, lap by lap. Yet even when the trenches became rather deep, he remained agile on the motorcycle. He could blend a polished riding style with sudden bursts of speed, seemingly remaining synchronized with the circuit, as if the process were easy.
Nevertheless, as he powered past the mechanic's area, his fellow team member would encourage and applaud. His morale seemed to constantly rise, which translated to a remarkable charge forward, for heat number one. While attacking the course in the earliest stages, he managed to carve through the traffic and weave through the canvas. to collect a standing of thirteenth. Despite losing a few positions due to a mistake on lap two (where he descended to fifteenth), he quickly rebounded and began to advance. A perfect gear would have to be found while shifting through the transmission, as many of these leaps were lengthy, while situated just outside of numerous bowl turns.
He could navigate the technical aspects of the circuit with fluidity though, while battling alongside competitors such as Lorenzo Camporese, Reven Gordon, and Kyle Wise. His valiant effort, led him to occupying a transferring position on lap eight...but just before the checkered flag was thrown, he would pass Preston Masciangelo and Justin Rodbell
- to claim seventh! In the finalé, an array of incentives and points were on the line. He knew that attacking the racetrack in the earliest moments was of the utmost importance, and as he eventually weaved through the green-flag circuit, Ross would collect a position of ninth. Tear-off's were pulled while dashing around the raceway - with vision being crucial, amongst a track of this difficulty. With the course constantly breaking down, he and Hunter Yoder would simultaneously undergo a battle. However, despite descending to tenth, he regained the ninth-place position on lap six, after passing Lux Turner. From there, Ross' consistency was superb. He was mistake-free and continued to excel around the landscape. Thus, when the checkered flag waved it was Ross who claimed ninth in the 250SX West Coast record book!
