GRIT 302 — 250SX — 8th — Hunter Yoder
February 14, 2026 · Hunter Yoder

Rivalries were found throughout the 250 SX division this year. Racers from around the globe would take part in the series and strive for the highest feats. That narrative was sustained as action took place in Seattle, Washington on Saturday. Following the Seahawks Super Bowl win, the crowd in the Northwest was enthusiastic. Fans in attendance would applaud Hunter Yoder's exceptional efforts, as he carved through the track in qualifying rounds. Immediately, roots were trenched around the technical raceway. There was no question that the soil was going to be an integral component in the forthcoming, main event narrative As practice eventually concluded, he and his surrounding crew of supporters would look toward heat-race festivities as a means of garnering a strong gate choice. Upon shifting into gear, he raced from the line to begin the night show program. The battles that were brewing on the circuit were unfathomable, with each athlete giving it their all while striving for the green flag. As he powered past the finish line, he would collect an opening race standing of third, while putting forth a remarkable pace on the motorcycle.
There were a multitude of established competitors within heat two, and while residing behind Lux Turner, he could sense a bit of pressure from Yamaha's Michael Mosiman. Their battle was intense, and as the Mosiman ultimately made his way past (on circuit number three, Yoder immediately began to mimic the rhythm of the fellow Californian. Yoder's resilience and willingness to push the envelope per se, would pay-off — as Mosiman's mistake (not far from the mechanic's area enabled Yoder to work his way past...but simultaneously, he would overtake the position once held by Lux Turner, as well! The leap into second was magnificent, and it seemed as if he would reside here, before another duel ensued between he and Michael! Mosiman appeared to have the past made, where Yoder was comfortably in third as the seventh-lap concluded... though an unforeseen collision then transpired.
Michael would take the outside line in a tight, right-handed bend — and Yoder saw an opportunity to pounce forward. His (Hunter's) aggression would lead him to taking a rather risky chance so to speak, and as he dove to the inside, both of their lines converged Each athlete fell to the ground, though luckily Yoder was able to remount the motorcycle without losing much time...and as the final flag was thrown, he earned a concluding score of fourth! All in attendance would cheer for the pack of athletes as they sprinted from the starting line in the main event. His ambition was palpable, and led to an early race standing of tenth, though Yoder was striving for higher positions. He would pass Parker Ross to claim ninth, and then on lap six, eighth-place would be clinched by him as he advanced ahead of Lux Turner. Hunter's pace was steady, through that sector of the main event-
—though
on lap twelve, he and Maximus Vohland would begin to battle. Numerous position swaps occurred, from that point onward! Though it was a slight mistake by Yoder on the last lap, which allowed Maximus to work his way past. leaving Hunter with an admirable score of eighth, amongst overall standings.
