GRIT 302 — 250SX — 7th — Maximus Vohland
February 14, 2026 · Maximus Vohland

With the track in the Northwest on Saturday, being sculpted and crafted with precision (even with the troublesome atmospheric conditions) all in the 250cc category knew that the layout was going to be rather technical and tricky.
Thorough analyzation was done by Maximus Vohland as he scanned a raceway from afar before practice began. As engines revved, he waited for the referee to cue him, where he could engage in an all-out blitz of the racing surface. There was minimal time wasted as he carved through the canvas. Steadily, he was beginning to link together rhythm sections) that rivaled the best athletes in the division. Regardless of how technical the trenches became, his balance was on-point, and he remained agile atop the foot-pegs. The circuit was almost unrecognizable after practice concluded. Though the track maintenance crew quickly began to go to work and preparations for the night show. Shortly thereafter, he and his mechanic were on the starting line for heat race one. The thirty-second board would then go sideways, and he immediately bolted onto the canvas while seeking a transfer position to the upcoming main event. After battling with remarkable intensity through the opening circuit, he would hover near an approximate position of fifth. He knew an idea of complacency couldn't be adopted, especially with so many high-caliber riders not far from his rear wheel. Yet rather than be overwhelmed by the moment, he remained methodical as the track continued to establish technical grooves. Consistency was key with riders of immense talent all around him, but as the race progressed he looked for opportunities to move forward. An advancement of position would come via a mistake from Kawasaki's Cameron McAdoo -

five, Vohland took over the fourth-place residency on lap five! From there, he continued to power ahead to the finish line...taking the fourth position as final results were calculated. As racers sprinted from the starting line for the main event, he would battle and fight forward to occupy a standing of seventh. His intensity was remarkable, and despite being passed by Ryder DiFrancesco, Vohland knew that he could mimic the flow of many athletes ahead of him. This led to a seventh-place standing being captured once more (after descending to eighth following the pass from Ryder). On the fifth circuit, when he advanced to the previously noted seventh slot, he would surpass Lux Turner. From there, he remained for a significant amount of time, before he and Hunter Yoder would partake in an energy-zapping rivalry! Both opponents would flourish around the technical raceway though their standings would be swapped on a number of occasions! Back-and-forth they would go. before a mistake by Yoder (on lap eighteen) was enough to allow Vohland to sneak past - thus, Maximus took seventh-place as the final flag was thrown!
