GRIT 302 — 250Sx — 5th — Cameron Mcadoo

Athletes within the West Coast series were eager to begin competition in Seattle. The track crew had maintained a remarkable canvas given the amount of rain that had occurred in the days prior. Regardless, his attack-ready stance could conform to whatever atmospheric conditions, the venue was amongst, and that notion was displayed as practice took place on Saturday. As bikes weave throughout the landscape, ruts, and significant grooves were formed across all facets.

This made the ideas of vision and precision of the utmost importance. He embodied both of them and put forth a multitude of laps, which were displayed in clusters that rivaled the elite members of the category. All the while he was game-planning for a mode of attack for heat race one. In the hours that followed, he was established on the starting line. From there, he accelerated from the grate and onto the course where he obtained a position of second, behind Ryder DiFrancesco. Knowing that the track was set to breakdown, he quickly took advantage of the smooth landscape and would carve from left to right and vice-versa while minimal bumps, ruts, and holes were presented. However, just before an acute right-handed bend (after only a bit of time had transpired) McAdoo would be surpassed by his teammate (i.e. Kitchen). At that point, he was third...and he resided in the bronze medal slot, until roughly three and a-half minutes were left on the clock

- Wnen MCAoo was

surpassed by the British rider, though he immediately engaged in battle from that instant, onward. He was fierce while pursuing the rear wheel of Anstie...until a nearly devastating crash, after the sand, would have him flying off of the motorcycle with just over two minutes remaining on the clock! The lowa native was certainly lucky that the crash wasn't worse. Though he remounted quickly, and despited descending to a standing as low as eighth, he rebounded for an eventual result of fifth! For the finalé, he strove to compete at the highest level. His blistering pace was instantly engaged and led to a position of second being obtained on the opening circuit! However, Haiden Deegan quickly rivaled him - and would overtake him just before the finish line, with a swift cut from the outside of the track to the inside lane, via a technical plethora of singles.

Nevertheless, McAdoo remained engaged in third. He remained here, for two circuits, before being surpassed by his hard-charging teammate, Levi Kitchen. Fourth, however, wouldn't be occupied for long...as Cameron would take part in a strenuous battle of pace(s) between he and Ryder DiFrancesco. Though it was the Husqvarna athlete who prevailed, and surged ahead of McAdoo on lap five. From that point onward, Cameron was solidified in fifth...keeping his machine on a superb trajectory, where he remained through the conclusion of the moto — earning the fifth-place accolade, on the overall leaderboard
