GRIT 302 — 250SX — 4th — Ryder Difrancesco
February 14, 2026 · Ryder DiFrancesco

Battles were set to take place throughout all aspects of the event on Saturday. Ryder DiFrancesco welcomed each rivalry, knowing that he embodied the utmost confidence in his abilities on the racetrack. It was evident that he was in complete command of the motorcycle as he swept through the course for practice, even as foot-pegs would drag across the canvas, he remained constant on the throttle. Nothing could thwart his acceleration, and as he pieced together creative lines through rhythm lanes and berms alike, his trajectory for the upcoming night show seemed to be phenomenal. There was little to doubt as he exited the raceway and returned to the pit area. Shortly thereafter, he and his mechanic scanned the starting line for an optimal gate position. Once selected, he monitored the thirty-second board, and as gates eventually fell, he immediately began to upshift through the transmission. His means of attack were clear, and while jumping through patterns of jumps that were extremely technical. He would battle alongside opponents. including Cameron McAdoo, to take the early race lead! Ryder knew that a pace of this magnitude could be sustained through the checkered flag. Every lap the raceway, would change and nothing could be guaranteed with soil that deteriorated this quickly. Despite a valiant effort, it would be Levi Kitchen who tracked him down after a slight bit of the contest had transpired, with the Pacific Northwest native leaping past him to concluded a treacherous rhythm lane — and in the left-handed bend thereafter, the Husqvarna athlete would be surpassed. However, from there, he would defend his position admirably from a hard-charging, Max Anstie...and despite the athlete from Britain looking superb on the motorcycle, it was Ryder who claimed second when concluding the nine-lap contest! In the main event, he appeared to be amongst the front-runners) in the field..as numerous top-tier contenders were going bar-to-bar in the initial moments.
At one point, he and Levi Kitchen were side by side, while contending near a position of sixth - though his official standing for the first lap, would be eighth. He quickly vaulted into fourth-place, however, passing Lux Turner, Michael Mosiman, Maximus Vohland, and Kawasaki's Kitchen, definitively! Though Ryder was surpassed by the Washington native. on the fourth circuit. Nevertheless, he only (briefly) descended into fifth for one circuit...before surpassing Cameron McAdoo once and for all! From that point onward, the Californian was phenomenal in fourth, and remained here, through the checkered flag to capture a magnificent finish in Seattle!
