GRIT 302 — 250SX — 1st — Haiden Deegan

Haiden Deegan strove to remain at the front of the pack, for racing in Seattle on Saturday. The Yamaha athlete was seeking to put forth a myriad of blistering lap-times, and would do so, even as the track was a bit moist, in the earliest of practicing rounds. However, as the night show grew closer, the sun would begin to dry-out the circuit - and the rear wheel of his machine seemingly found traction at the highest capacity. A thorough sense of knowledge was established by the former champion, and as he awaited gate(s) to fall in heat number two, there appeared to be little that could stand in his way. In the moments that followed, he powered from the grate to collect a standing of first. Deegan's infiltration of the first-place residency was phenomenal, and it was clear that he felt as if he could dominate this event! Lap by lap, the native of California would extend his gap over the rest of the field, and as the checkered flag waved, he took the heat victory — with a margin of over fifteen-seconds, ahead of the runner-up position! Athletes from across the starting line would storm into turn number one of the finalé.

Deegan's infiltration of the top-five was admirable. But it was evident, that he was aware of where Levi Kitchen resided (amongst the cluster of riders just near him. Nevertheless, Deegan evaded danger, and charged past Michael Mosiman and Lux Turner, to enter into third. From there, he was set to track-down Cameron McAdoo. He would surpass the Kawasaki athlete in the combination of jumps before the finish line, swerving to the inside following a hard-charging run amongst the obstacles. The move into second was then made as lap two was finalized, and from there, Deegan strove forward, to the rear wheel of Max Anstie. After a surplus of momentum was showcased (when compared to the British rider), the pass would be made when exiting a left-handed bowl turn, just before the finish line! The lead was then his, but Levi Kitchen was set to track him down. Levi's bursts) of speed led to a pass being made by the Washington native on the tenth circuit! Kitchen's combination of tripling onto a technical tabletop (in the middle of the raceway) couldn't be ignored, by the red-plate holder. Though even with the awareness of the distance being nullified, Haiden couldn't thwart the surge which Levi put forth. It was in the right-handed bend before the sand, with just over seven minutes on the clock, where Levi would make his way ahead.. though Deegan immediately began to stalk the rear wheel of his rival! Back and forth they would go throughout the rest of the confidence - with all enthusiasts of the sport cheering at the highest capacity! Momentum would swing in favor of each rider on a number of occasions, with a series of high-adrenaline passes being made by both opponents! It seemed to be anyone's race on a number of occasions, but on the seventeenth circuit, Haiden made the pass "stick" so to speak, once and for all. A final block pass of sorts after the whoops, seemed to be the definitive advancement per se. And from that point onward, Deegan charged to the finish line capturing another victory, with a legendary performance in the Northwest!
