GRIT 301 — 250SX 7th — Hunter Yoder
February 7, 2026 · Hunter Yoder

A thorough analysis was put forth by Hunter Yoder as practice rounds took place on Saturday. This course would be comprised of the utmost technicality, which was coupled with remarkable speeds displayed by each athlete on the roster. He was among them, and knew he would have to continue ascending as the track broke down. The course was a bit more hard-packed than most. However, he knew as the night show approached that the track was certain to be ever-changing. Nevertheless, his lap-times wouldn't diminish. He continued to hit his marks as qualifying transpired. In the heat race he was locked in behind the starting gate, scanning the raceway from afar. He occupied a position of fourth and remained here for a significant amount of time. However, late in the contest, a remarkable battle ensued with an array of position shuffles — including Cameron McAdoo, himself, and Carson Mumford. As McAdoo moved past, Yoder would briefly descend to fifth — before overtaking Mumford not long before the checkered flag, taking fourth-place as competition ceased. In the finalé, racers knew that tires were set to drift across the landscape. When launching throughout the circuit, he used the far edges to find a bit of consistency — it was clear that he was comfortable in the most technical of areas. He continued to gather knowledge of the track while assembling strong laps — and despite being overtaken by Levi Kitchen on lap seven, Yoder was otherwise extremely consistent in regard to positioning. He constantly pursued the rear wheel of Maximus Vohland, which helped him evade the charge from Max Anstie. In the end, the athlete aboard the number sixty machine was spectacular — and was finalized in seventh overall, respectively.
