GRIT 301 — 250SX 5th — Ryder Difrancesco
February 7, 2026 · Ryder DiFrancesco

Ryder DiFrancesco's strategy was pristine. He aspired for a top-five finish in the main event on Saturday night, but knew that his quest for success would have to begin with a strong output of laps in qualifying. When it mattered most, he was willing to contend with opponents of the highest caliber. As sections and rhythm lanes became rutted, he could swiftly alter his lines without ceasing any momentum on the motorcycle. It was unbelievable to see, and from there, his outlook for the approaching heat race appeared to be spectacular. Once onto the starting line, he shifted into gear while zeroing-in on turn number one. As the opening lap transpired, he wouldn't shy away from battle. Immense power was generated via the rear wheel of his motorcycle...before diving front-wheel first into the inner pathways of the sand section! While burying his wheel, he immediately plunged to the ground! Though he remounted as quickly as possible and surged back through the field, ultimately salvaging a notable eighth-place effort. In the main event, his efforts from the opening corner equated to a standing of third after fiercely battling with Cameron McAdoo. Immediately, he engaged in an all-out blitz — knowing that a pack of eager competitors were only bike lengths away. Though a thorough process of hunting and tracking-down from Cameron enabled the Iowa native to work his way past in the corner just after the whoop section. Now into fourth, he would do his best to defend the territory. Though it was Levi Kitchen who was clawing his way forward — and surpassed the Husqvarna athlete with just over five minutes remaining. From there, Ryder maintained a notable pace in the laps that followed and remained consistent while piloting ahead in the aforementioned standing...ultimately residing here — i.e. fifth — as the final flag was thrown.
