The number 524 from Nebraska, Diesel Thomas, had transitioned to the full-size chassis very well in recent years, generating quite the sum of attention throughout the amateur national circuit. He was destined to continue as he participated in the RC Daytona Amateur SX event in March, speeding through the Schoolboy 2 (12-17) division with a flow that was admired by fans on the sideline. His ability to stay smooth while racing into the top five would be exceptional, acquiring an overall of fifth place prior to moving into 250 B Limited - where a tremendous silver medal performance would be solidified!
