There weren't many more opportunities to make a definitive statement in the 2024 season...which put an emphasis on events like Nashville, where thousands of screaming fans would flock in hopes of elevating the race-craft of Beta's Benny Bloss. The athlete who called the state of Missouri home, was planning to give it "all he had" per se, when flying through the various practice sectors - launching over triple-triple combinations (after the whoops) with ease, while showcasing how fine-tuned the chassis of his Beta machine was. Which led to a confident opening ensemble of laps, where he resided sixth. There was little room for error on this track, and with numerous instances of crashing occurring in the 250cc heat races, he knew he would have to be cautious when riding on the edge...especially when attacking a number of these acute corners. Diving on the brakes when entering into the corners, particularly before the finish-line and after the whoops, could be problematic. He was always thinking a step ahead, and nullified the charge from that of Dean Wilson (whom he'd passed earlier in the moto) and was now trailing as they both neared the finish line. Eventually, he was able to occupy that of sixth while cresting the final double. Departing into the main event thereafter, his anticipation of where riders would move and flow throughout the first few laps, led to a remarkable standing of ninth being secured. Flying over the "SX" double, there were a few instances where he could gain time by charging into the inside of the makeshift rollers thereafter...lessening the distance between he and Adam Cianciarulo who was ahead, all the while spraying roost from his rear wheel to deter the vision of Vince Friese that remained behind him. Around the seventh minute, he began to break away and establish a pace that was easily identified with single digit territory - and as he constantly strove for a top-five standing, he couldn't help but give it his all when powering past the mechanic's area. Into the makeshift rut (via dozer blade) that was now entrenched in the corner before the whoops; where he popped over the tapered wall jump with the rear wheel spinning - ready to launch into the moguls thereafter while hoping to amplify the distance between he and who was in constant pursuit of him. As the timer continued to dwindle, it appeared as if eighth place were going to be actualized - after he had made passes with attrition, including overtaking that of Adam Cianciarulo, all the while remaining within a respectable distance of Hunter Lawrence! He would also keep Malcolm Stewart at bay after the mistake from the Husqvarna rider had cost him a number of positions in the early stages...propelling Bloss to a tremendous finish, and a historic feat for the Beta brand!
