ADAM CIANCIARULO GRIT-227 450MX

ADAM CIANCIARULO | GRIT-227 | 450MX

Adam Cianciarulo's spectacular prowess would be on display throughout the day in Millville on Saturday, after an incredible series of laps in qualification; where the Kawasaki proved that his talent remained elite, before embarking on the first moto of action. His reaction time when leaping from the grate would be spectacular, where he kept his Kawasaki engine revved to the highest extent and was able to lead the field around throughout the first few corners of action! However Jett Lawrence quickly overtook him, pushing the native Floridian to second where he had a number of top-tier competitors just behind. Yet, Cianciarulo wouldn't fold - and instead, rose to the occasion as the first ten minutes of action would pass. Combatting the ruts with picture-perfect technique, his ability to weight the outside foot-peg while defending third (after being passed by Chase Sexton as well) would be phenomenal...and actually allowed him to keep Jason Anderson at bay until lap seven. Doing his best to retain a position in the top-five for the laps thereafter, he would fight extremely hard while competing amongst names like Aaron Plessinger, Dylan Ferrandis, and Garrett Marchbanks. Cianciarulo's fighting spirit eventually hallowed him to garner seventh, prior to exiting the raceway. And his start for the second round of action was worthy of applause as well, where he quickly found a residency inside the top-three, while looking to lessen the gap that both Chase Sexton and Jett Lawrence were attempting to extend. He would be gifted with an inherited position though as Chase Sexton would wash-out on the opening straightaway (around eight minutes in)...but would then lose the spot as the Honda rider worked his way around not long thereafter. But the perseverance of "AC" wouldn't stop, despite (as well) being passed by Dylan Ferrandis and Aaron Plessinger just after the halfway point. Cianciarulo was all by himself within the fifth-place standing, and knew that he could sustain a prominent flow as laps continue to transpire. He was calculated, and reiterating his pre-race game-plan of accruing as much of a foundation as possible...which continued until the checkered flag was thrown, and the Floridian would amass a fifth (for this moto's final score), which equated to an admirable fifth-place overall as well! And with a result like that, the number nine was destined to move toward the round of Washougal with a steady ascension of confidence.
