AARON PLESSINGER - GRIT 241 450SX

GRIT-241 | 450 SX

Appearing on an ascending path like never before, Aaron Plessinger would roll into Cowboy(s) Stadium embodying the mascots persona with a country-like persona of his own. The crowd cheered and clapped for him with extraordinary applause amid qualification laps, where he was unquestionably a fan favorite in the 450 SX division. This motivated "AP" to garner a solid lap-time, and into heat number one where his starting technique was nearly perfect. Out to an early lead, he would float through the outside of the sand while using the outer edge as the perfectly boundary to lean. He was as smooth as anyone on the Dallas SX surface, blitzing his way through the whoops while floating through corners thereafter and keeping an admirable distance between he and Tomac. However, when passing the halfway point and into the final leg of the moto, the former champion would make countless attempts at overtaking him - leaping to the inside and pushing his machine to the furthest tuff block(s) on one occasion in particular, but Aaron's tenacity enabled him to keep reign of the field by not letting off the throttle! He seemed to be in control of the moto after combatting the offense of "ET"...however, an error or two amongst rappers and line selection in the opening rhythm lane, along with the inside path of the final whoops passage, would have Aaron locked-into a slower line (via a downed rider in the corner thereafter) which simultaneously enabled Eli to work his way to the outside! Now second, Aaron was forced to reside here as the checkered flag was thrown...creating quite the storyline to precede the main event. After beginning the main event in fourth, Plessinger was on-pace with Hunter Lawrence who was just ahead...mimicking the Honda rider for seven laps before making a precise pass to solidify his spot on the podium. He could see Cooper Webb and Jett Lawrence not too far ahead...running a mistake-free pace for countless minutes before spotting a blue fender emerge into his peripheral view. It was Tomac, who had tracked his machine down and was attempting to make a pass for the podium, around twenty laps in! Plessinger refuted the claims of the former championship contender until the twenty-third circuit...when Tomac's speed near the whoop section was too much for Plessinger to defend (though the Ohio native attempted to pass him back)! Now fourth, it was the mistakes of Jett Lawrence that enabled Plessinger to move ahead...granting him the third-place rides engines ceased!
