AARON PLESSINGER GRIT-226 450MX

AARON PLESSINGER | GRIT-226 | 450MX

Aaron Plessinger's speed amongst the 450cc classification was unquestionable, and the versatility of the Ohio native would be apparent as he sped onto the raceway of "The Wick 338" where he immediately proved that he could adapt to the ever-changing landscape of the Massachusetts region. This translated into the first moto as well, where he battled amongst the top-five, while doing his best to keep Dylan Ferrandis at bay. However the Yamaha rider appeared to be on a slightly higher level, and after countless attempts of defending the inside line from the French rider, Plessinger would be overtaken by the number fourteen. This had him descending to fifth, but it was then Ty Masterpool who was just ahead, forcing Plessinger to have to work in order to pass the 450cc newcomer. He remained behind the rear wheel of the number eighty-one for quite sometime, before making a pass on the eighth circuit; which translated to a fourth-place position being earned. His aspirations were now to try and overtake Dylan Ferrandis, but the Yamaha rider from France was riding spectacularly while storming to the checkered flag. And throughout the duration of the sixteen-lap contest, it would be Plessinger who ultimately resided fourth as athletes of all caliber exited the course with exhaustion. His start to the second moto would be initiated in the third-place position, just behind Dylan Ferrandis and Jett Lawrence. But he immediately would have to deal with Chase Sexton; who would make his move before the end of lap two, leaving "AP" in the fourth-place position. He began to launch from the largest of singles before the "Buckley Berm" area, landing upon a makeshift roller that was created throughout the course of the day. Every single on the track would be launched from with intensity, flat-landing upon the rear wheel and using the shock as a means to recoil when sparing the chassis from serious jarring. He would monitor the gap over Garrett Marchbanks, via indicators from his mechanic on the pit-board. And though the ClubMX Yamaha rider was riding extremely well, his pace wasn't quite on the same trajectory as Plessinger's - who again was proving that his riding aptitude could translate to a multitude of racing surfaces. Throughout the sixteen-lap process, he would hang onto the fourth-place residency; which categorized him in a well respected fourth-place overall, as well.
