nothing flows like underground does!
3 Palms is the best!
Danny has made many improvements
Very happy to call rio home
Just feels like family
The faster riders are very respectful
When you get a little bit older it's all about the ride Not the race
Nothing but lots of mad respect for the Miller Family & an awesome crew they have out there at Freestone MX! :)
Johnsonville MX Farm is an awesome place. Getting better every day.
Johnsonville MX farm is the best..
I have ridden 3 palm probably over 100 times. They always keep things groomed and wetted , plus there are 3 tracks to break up your practice sessions. And with an awesome on site sales/service facility who couldn't like this all around attraction?
Underground is a good layout but gets really rutted quickly since the dirt has so much clay. no sprinklers either.
Del Valle has really poor dirt like ridding in lumpy pavement, limited layout access and its closed on Saturday.
Rio, still a great track, like a tradition to be a part of.
Red Rock is becoming everyone's greatest secret to share. It has superb loamy sand, inventive track layouts and its secluded which makes the scenery relaxing while resting between laps. I also like the owners attitude toward keeping his riders connected with the sport we are passion about.
Badlands seems to have become less a destination as they have lost their initial focus ,which once made this track worth the trip.
Highlands is another track that evolves and keeps their image out there for us to investigate what's new.
Since there are so many Texas track and several I have not ridden (yet) it would be unfair to rate the best in Texas based on the above places.
Thank you for the kind words Kelly! :)
They are all good, really hard to pick just one. Underground, Freestone, Johnsonville, Swan they are all great. Texas is such a great place to be if you ride dirt scooters because on any given day you can find someplace to get your moto on. Maybe you should narrow it down to best track in Texas to train on, or best track to race on, best track amenities, etc.etc...
I would just have to say Texas is the best track in the stat!
Love all my Texas tracks but Jerry and the rest of the Masterpool family make His956 like home!! They offer a different track just about everyday, and it gets just as rough or rougher with 10 people there than it does at most tracks on a big race day. Did I mention RUTS for DAYYZZZ!!
Rio Bravo has done many upgrades...and has THE BEST TRACK BUILDER...and EX PRO MOTOCROSS RIDER as THEIR MANAGER and Builder....
They're all really good tracks but what separates them that I don't agree with is the membership fee for out-of-towners multiple family membership can get out of hand swan who's got the best facilities and no membership fee Three Palms I'd like to visit more but I don't agree with the membership so I don't go
I agree, as I visit Texas once a year and go there once on a weekday and pay more than any other track and not one of their tracks had water on them
hey're all really good tracks but what separates them that I don't agree with is the membership fee for out-of-towners multiple family membership can get out of hand swan who's got the best facilities and no membership fee Three Palms I'd like to visit more but I don't agree with the membership so I don't go
paris mx has been closed for 2 years sadly.
The Compound MX needs to be added to this list! Incredible track layout built by VMAC with the best kids track in Texas, an amateur supercross track and professional arenacross track. But maybe I'm a little biased 😉
Swan MX is pretty wicked. GMX of Greenville, Tx is my favorite but didn't make the list.
Any track that VMAC Tracks builds is always spectacular. A little birdy told me he maybe working on Village creek soon!
Underground is by far the best track. Lots of technical obstacles but a great flow. Swan would be my second choice.
No question that 3 Palms is the BEST TRACK IN TEXAS! I mean where else can you do all of these things in one place - ride moto, ride BMX, wakeboard, ride the cable, buy a new motorcycle, buy gear, service your motorcycle, and soon they will have a supercross track!!! Moto Paradise for sure!
3 PALMS IS AWSOME
Thanks for your support!!- Team 3 Palms
3 palms for its major variety
Thank you for your support!! - Team 3 Palms
Freestone is THE best!
It's our favorite place to ride in Texas. Something for each of us.
Johnsonville has it ALL. Pristine park like facility, ALWAYS maintained, always groomed, continually watered, flaggers and emergency personnel even on practice days, best dirt mix in Texas, super friendly and caring moto family owners... and the list keeps going.
3 palms is the one , where else can you do all the activities other than riding in one location . Great tracks , great facilities and friendly people. Can't beat that !!!
3 palms is the best track in Texas. Always maintaining the hole facility. People are nice and you have a a few tracks to choose from. I moved closer to enjoy the track as often as I can.
Best all around facility ever been to. Track flows great and dirt is awesome!
Love 3-palms when I am allowed and able to ride
Hands down....3 PALMS!!! This place is unreal!!!! If you've never been, DROP EVERYTHING AND GO! Tons of tracks, wakeboarding, bike dealership, boat dealership, camping..the list goes on!
3Palms MX is the best!! There are so many tracks to choose from, any skill level. Love that they sell ice!!!! And the best of all.....they are open every day!!!
I love 3 Palms!
3 palms is the best technical but fun with great momentum.
3palms is #1. They do a great job on the tracks. Disney land for adults.
3 Palms for sure
3P has really come a long way and it looks like Emil is just getting started on this dream of his.
Stay with it, what a fantastic facility.
No better place to develope your riding skills than 3 Palms. So fortunate to have that track as our home track.
We didn't get to see the track as much as we had anticipated, but my family and I agree that it's not just a place to kick up some dirt, or see a few whips. It's a place where you can find a friend or catch a glimpse of the of youngsters grinning from ear to ear . The only place where we feel free to be ourselves. That's why Swan is the best Texas track for you and your family to enjoy a weekend!!!!
Swan by a landslide!
I've been truly blessed to have ridden so many tracks in so many states over my nearly 50 years of racing, and even more so now that I get to race regularly in Texas. I have had the opportunity to ride several of the tracks on the list and a few not on the list. I have to shout out to the Bower's in Amarillo, they have put a lot of work into their facility, and it's top notch. Freestone is not for sissy's, if you're scared of speed, stay away from Swan, I love it! Johnsonville is a blast, Buffalo Creek is great fun, and Oak Hill is awesome. How can a guy choose? What a great sport we all Love!!!
Swan Raceway Park is #1!
•Grand Stands seating
•Full spectating view all around the track from start to finish
•Covered starting gates
•Restrooms as well as showers that actually have hot water
•Safe track layout
•Great dirt, track is always well kept
•Great family environment
•Flaggers on every jump
•Annual Texas Pro Challenge with a $25,000 PRO payout
Swan does a great job at giving back to it's racers as well. Every year they give away free prizes for the Texas Lonestar Series including a FREE bike to one lucky winner who draws the right card!
This track is the real deal! If you're ever looking to have a great racing experience with your family or friends, stop on by Swan Raceway Park in Tyler, Texas! I promise you won't be disappointed!
Underground. Great staff and awesome track best track to train
3 Palms due to the variety of activities and versatility. We ride all the Houston area tracks and all are good tracks but 3Palms set the bar.
Villagecreek has best tracks for everyone
Three Palms is what heaven must be like. The place is awesome.
Burleson MX is by far the best track because none have better dirt. The atmosphere is laid back and the regulars are like family. When the water content is right , it's like riding on loam nuggets.
I vote for Swan MX because they really care about their racers. They are always making improvements to the track and they give back to the racers and their families with prizes and cookouts. It is run by local nice and caring people.
Red Rock MX is hands down the best dirt mixture in Texas. This track should be at the top of the list. Period.
Swan...nuff said....may not have the most technical jumps there but everyone can go and have fun and relax and has all the facilities needed and adding more later.....
Freedom in Highlands is a bright new shining star! Its gonna be a contender for years to come! The owner puts his heart and soul into it....... cant say enough positive things about this track!
Red Rock MX Park has two tracks. A National Track and a GP Track rolling through elevation changes and beautiful stands of pine trees providing abundant shade. The most amazing dirt and flowing layouts are challenging for advanced riders, and also fun and safe for beginner/novice riders. The prep on the tracks is stellar. It's so good that it feels like home and I never want to leave!
Seriously no track flows better than underground
Red Rock Mx is the true life manifestation of Mx Unleashed. It's one of the best sand tracks and training areas in the country. Don't argue. Just ride it.
Redrock MX has the best layout, prep, and has super fun elevation changes
Red rock best track I have ever rode by far
Great owner and best dirt in Texas! The top 5 on this website are all great places, but Matt, being so involved with the work on the track and scheduling ride days is what puts him ahead of the game (oh, and the dirt at RR). It's challenging and a great place to rip, owned by some good people!
Red rocks is easily the greatest. The dirt is siQQ, the jumps are huge, and they are one of the best at grooming a track (even though it's awesome rough)
Jvillie is the best
Any family or person that is willing to open their land and offer enthusiast a place to ride is the BEST!. All that rah, rah, ree, ree is cool but each track is the BEST!
So everyone is the same? That doesnt make sense?
I agree with Tom Shields. "Each Track is Best"
Love Matt and the Red Rock MX tracks!
Swan MX is my favorite track! Good flow, safe jumps for any level rider, good dirt, great races, great attendance, & most importantly, good people!! 👍😁
Swan is by far our favorite track. They do such a great job of caring for the riders and families. We have several great tracks . We love riding Greenville MX as well great local track that has been brought back to life. Taking care of a track is expensive and we think you can tell which tracks do a great job and which need some refocusing.
Swan best walk around
Swan Mx is the best track in Texas!! No other track gives out overall prizes for their series like Swan does and the people that work there and the owners are the best people you'll ever meet...
Three palms, 3 full sized mx tracks At 1 facility! And prepped constantly. And i might add, different soil on each track. Really a full package.
As a parent of a 10 year old rider, my views may have a different base but he has ridden at most of these tracks. We love and support every one of them and if you aren't willing to sacrifice everything you own or every hour you have, then don't own one and don't judge those that do. I voted for Spring Valley because even 3 hours away, my son will call it his home track. They are the epitome of family, care the utmost for the safety of their riders and we love the Vertical Adreneline ministry that we first met there. Please support them any way you can!
