The Johnny Campbell Racing Team of Kendall Norman, Quinn Cody and Logan Holladay sealed another chapter in Baja racing history this past weekend by securing the overall victory in the 44th Annual Tecate SCORE Baja 1000 desert race. Armed with the No. 1x JCR Honda Racing CRF450X, the three riders covered the exceptionally rough and rugged 705-mile course in the fastest time of all 278 starters in the race to give Honda its 22nd overall motorcycle win in the world-famous Baja 1000 race, and also its 15th consecutive victory. It was the sixth overall career Baja 1000 win for Norman and his fifth straight, while Cody picked up his fourth career Baja 1000 overall motorcycle victory and his third straight. For Holladay, a Hollywood stunt rider, it was his first SCORE Baja race win.

Tentative Area Qualifier and Regional Championship Schedules Announced for
2012 Red Bull Amateur National Motocross Championship at Loretta Lynn Ranch

(November 21, 2011) - MX Sports, producer of the 2012 Red Bull Amateur National Motocross Championship presented by Amsoil, announces the tentative 2012 Area Qualifier and Regional Championship Schedules. Taking place in 32 states throughout the country, this season's schedule of 50 Area Qualifiers will begin February 18-19 and run through Memorial Day weekend. The 12 Regional Championships will take place in six major geographical regions throughout the United States during the month of June.

Five outstanding motorcyclists took their place in history Friday, Nov. 18, at the 2011 AMA Visa Card from Capital One Motorcycle Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, presented by KTM, held here at the Red Rock Casino, Resort and Spa.
Hosted by actor and motorcyclist Perry King, the event kicked off the AMA Visa Card Legends & Champions Weekend. It honored the Hall of Fame Class of 2011: magazine editor Phil Schilling, motocross promoter Stu Peters, industry leader Fred Fox, motorcycling pioneer Norbert Schickel and roadracing champion Doug Polen.
In addition to the class of 2011, the induction ceremony recognized the outstanding careers of two existing Hall of Fame Legends: world champion racing icons Roger DeCoster and Kenny Roberts.
Jeff Heininger, chairman of the American Motorcycle Heritage Foundation, which raises money to support the Motorcycle Hall of Fame, welcomed a sold-out crowd to the induction ceremony and voiced appreciation for their support.
"The vision of the Hall of Fame induction ceremony is only possible with partnership," Heininger said. "You need only to look around this room tonight and see the realization of this vision. I'm honored to be a part of this effort."
FMF/KTM's Kailub Russell posted his first career overall win at the ITP Powerline Park GNCC, round 12 of the Can-Am Grand National Cross Country Series, but not without a fight from the rest of the talented field of pro racers. The short off-season period is hardly a slow time of year as the Honda Red Riders gear up in preparation for the 2012 AMA Supercross series, an FIM world Championship, which is set to launch on January 7 in Anaheim, California. With all the team rosters filling out, here’s a preview of things to come.

The American Honda team will roll into 2012 with our new sponsor Muscle Milk, featuring riders Trey Canard and Justin Brayton aboard the 2012 Honda CRF450R.
