In the two weeks leading up to the Thor Lake Whitney Spring Classic, Dunlop has announced two riders per day of its 18 rider 2010 Team Dunlop National Team. These 18 top amateur racers and future stars were carefully selected by Dunlop race staff based on race results, rider character, hometown region and OEM brand.
However, at tonight’s annual Dunlop team dinner at the WB Ranch a 19th and final rider was announced in Zach Bell. The Team Dunlop National Team is reserved for mini riders only, but after it was determined that Zach’s main focus heading into Loretta Lynn’s this summer would be to defend his two Supermini class championships from 2009, he was welcomed back as a returning member to the elite squad.
