Rockstar Energy Suzuki is happy to announce that 2010 Amateur Motocross Champion Ian Trettel will be racing the team’s RM-Z250 for the final three Nationals of the 2010 AMA Pro Motocross season. “I look forward to seeing Ian compete at the professional level,” said Rockstar Energy Suzuki Team Manager Bill Keefe. “Ian has put in strong and consistent performances in the past two Amateur Championship events, and they have earned him the opportunity to ride in the pro ranks.”

DARDON-GUEUGNON, France – KTM proved to be the brand to beat winning all three classes (65cc, 85cc and 125cc) at the Dardon-Gueugnon circuit in France as riders all over the world came out to race in the FIM Junior MX World Championship.

Despite the threat of thunderstorms and terrible winds over 5,000 spectators came out to watch talented riders from 34 different nations race the FIM Junior MX World Championship.

Bellco and MX Sports, in association with Victory Sports, the PAMX and the AMA Fall Classic Series, announce a massive triple-sanction weekend packed with contingencies during the Steel City Raceway Pro National from Sept 3 - 5. On Friday, Sept. 3, riders can compete for PAMX Grand Championship Series points. On Sunday, Sept. 5, the Thor Mega Series presented by Dunlop rolls into town, paying points alongside the PAMX Fly Racing State Championship Series presented by Western Powerports and the Fall Classic Series, which pays AMA Pro-Am points and features a $3000 purse. And in between, the best riders in the world compete on Saturday, Sept. 4, in round 11 of the Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship.

Coming into Unadilla, all anyone could talk about was the battle between James Stewart and Ryan Dungey. The real battle was going to happen in the lites class. The chase for the lites title is starting to tighten up with Renegade Fuels rider Trey Canard and Pro Circuit’s Pourcel. The Renegade Fuels, GEICO Powersports Honda rider had won three consecutive overalls coming into Unadilla, but he trailed Pourcel for the championship lead by 38 points. In the first moto all of that would change.
