250/450- Lorenzo Locurcio
Lorenzo Locurcio has had quite a year in 2015. From Loretta Lynn’s to the MX des Nations, Locurcio has seen and ridden it all. Earning a long list of highly commendable results aboard his Yamaha’s this year has him sitting in a very nice position for the upcoming season. Lorenzo raced a lot of places this year, traveling and experiencing different terrains across America and different types of riders. His best results were two huge wins at Mini O’s and the California Classic in two separate classes. After taking the Mini O’s in the B class…it was time to step up with the big boys in California and Lorenzo shined bright winning the Open Pro Sport division. Locurcio wasn’t done yet however, as he pushed his way onto the extremely stacked 250 A podium at the Loretta Lynn’s Amateur Nationals as well as a respectable fourth overall in the 450 A class capping off yet another amazing year in his motocross career.
Two-Stroke- Derek Drake
Derek Drake is a freak on his KTM machines. Drake finalized and put the finishing touches on a great Supermini career this year and the big bike horizon is shining brightly for the young #33. Drake won at races all across the country ranging from Oak Hill, Mammoth Mountain Motocross, to the Dodge amateur national where he took a pair of wins in the Schoolboy 1 (12-15) and 125 B divisions. Drakes dominance and raw ability on the bike shines at all times and once he’s got a bit more seat time on the big bikes he will be ripping his way to more and more wins on the same regular basis he and his bike are used to.
Supermini- Justin Rodbell
Prince Frederick, Maryland’s Justin Rodbell made waves in the Supermini division during the 2015 race season. Rodbell knocked out several top ten performances at Mini O’s almost breaking onto the podium in Supermini 1 (12-15) during Supercross. After a very impressive Loretta’s qualifying effort, Justin made it count pulling into third place overall in Supermini 2 (13-16) as well as a fourth in Supermini 1 (12-15) moving himself up the Dirty 100 as well as in the mini bike ranks!
