Schoolboy- Mitchell Falk
Mitchell Falk has been contesting for national wins for quite some time now. Hailing from Costa Mesa, California, Falk and his KTM have seen their fair share of podiums in their day. A big second place overall at Loretta Lynn’s in the Schoolboy 1 (12-16) B/C class helped keep the west coast shredder on the map and on course with his winning and podium shattering ways. Championships at the California Classic and podium results at the Ricky Carmichael Daytona Amateur Supercross in the Schoolboy classes earned Mitchell his position on the Dirty 100. Falk seems to really be clicking with the bike and with a bit of luck, 2016 could be the year of Falker.
Two-Stroke- Austin Winslow
Saint Cloud, Florida has created a mad man and his name is Austin Winslow. Winslow notched his spot at the top of the Dirty 100’s list of 2 Stroke aces! Winslow earned himself some very stout results throughout the year boosting himself to the top of the 2 stroke food chain! Winslow’s fifth overall at the Loretta Lynn’s Amateur National is a testament to his grit and speed on the track however his best results came on the technical Ricky Carmichael Daytona Supercross track where he nearly took the top spot launching into the history books in second place overall in the 2-Stroke (16+) class.
Supermini- Garrett Marchbanks
Garrett Marchbanks…or Supermini champ to you. Garrett made the most of his senior year in the mini ranks winning at nearly every major event he and his Monster Energy Kawasaki attended. Marchbanks got the ball rolling with wins in Motocross and Supercross at the Mini O’s claiming his spot in the Supermini class right from the first gate drops of the season. Another big championship in the Supermini 2 (13-16) class at the James Stewart Freestone Spring Championship would help build the confidence necessary to perform the unthinkable…double championships at the Ranch. Although a tall order, Garrett worked his Kawasaki Supermini for all it was worth stealing first place overall in Supermini 1 (12-15) and the Supermini 2 (13-16) classes leaving nothing to wish for. Marchbanks has been blitzing the wheels off of his new 250f’s and judging by his display of style on his Instagram he is pretty comfortable. Mini O’s and beyond is going to be exciting with yet another challenger entering the big bike mix!
Women- Brandi Richards
Lake Havasu, Arizona’s Brandy Richards has been topping Women’s results lists for years and why would you expect any different from her in 2015? Richards was on the gas once again, proving she still has what it takes to top the Women’s podium. Aside from racking up wins in the WORCS Series, Richards got things going on the moto side with a third place overall at the California Classic in Women 12+. Brandy backed this performance up with her best of the year, first place overall and the Women 12+ national championship at the Monster Energy Mammoth Mountain Motocross. Richards gave it her absolute all this year in Tennessee battling it out for the Women (16+) All-Star title. In the end, Brandy would finish up her 2015 motocross season with second overall in the premier Women’s class at the Ranch.
