Coming from Florida is the #777 of Dylan Greer. Dylan showed up to Daniel Boone MX in Kentucky for an Area Qualifier where he stayed consistent bringing home the win in all of his motos but two, which he finished second in, giving him the overall in Schoolboy 2 and 450 B and finishing 2nd in 250 B. Dylan plans to continue putting in hard work and get good results in hopes to pick up some big name sponsors this year. We caught up with Dylan to see what he's been up to and what his plans are for this year.
MP: Your last race, where was it and how did it go?
Dylan Greer: My last race was at Daniel Boone Mx in Kentucky for the qualifier, I did pretty good I won schoolboy 2 and 450b and got second in 250b. I didn't feel good all day I was sick but I still rode well, I Won all of my Motos except for 2 and I got second both of those Motos. So it wasn't a bad weekend at all just trying to get qualified for Loretta's.
MP: What's your goals for this year?
Dylan Greer: My goals for this year are to do well at all the races I go to, to try and get support or get noticed by big name sponsors. I plan to race in France again for the second year and do well there, Loretta's, the Vurb Classic, and Mini O's.
MP: Tell us where it all started, how did you first get started racing dirt bikes?
MP: What else do you like to do with your free time besides racing?
Dylan Greer: I like to golf, Andy Kost and I golf when we aren't riding when he comes down, but other than that I don't do much else then motocross besides hang out with friends I used to go to school before I started being homeschooled.
MP: What's the most challenging obstacle that comes with training and racing?
Dylan Greer: The most challenging thing is trying to keep everything fun you have to go to when you first started and remember that feeling and keep it. I see people get so wrapped up in this sport it becomes everything for them and they don't enjoy it at all. I always try to keep a positive vibe and I know I'm going to have a bad races and negative stuff happen while doing this sport but I always try to keep a level head.
MP: Out of all the places you have rode, where is your favorite place to ride?
Dylan Greer: Favorite place would have to be Monster Mountain . It's got clay with deep ruts and breaking bumps and then it also has a little bit of sand, it's the best track I think.
MP: If you could describe yourself using one word what would it be?
Dylan Greer: I would have a to say "quiet" I'm a really quiet person unless you really get to know me.
MP: You have some people helping you, who would you like to thank?
Dylan Greer: Yeah I have people but there is always far more to help, Kevin keen from carport empire, Travis Blackburn, Matt Beach fitness, Dionne racing, JT racing USA, EVS, Shoei, Scott, galfer USA, pro taper, CV4, rekluse clutches, Radmx, fmf, nihilo, Capitol cycle, factory connection, and also Radmx and he also has a day in the life of me video on my website.
