The stables over at Rock River Cycle Trader Yamaha are packed full! Riders of all ages and sizes are battling it out for the team and near the forefront is A class contender Cody McCulloch. In an effort to make his way back to one of the many premier training facilities and onto the podium, Cody has been working double ensuring his skills are on point and the bills are paid. In a world and corporate industry that seems to revolve around stress and finances, McCulloch is making the best of each and every day with no worries in sight...as long as he can ride his dirtbike, he'll be alright. When combined with his love of motocross, Cody's hard working, never give up attitude is going to be hard to stop in 2015.
MP: Cody what's up, Motoplayground on the line! how's everything going out your way?
Cody McCulloch: Its going good, I've been riding good and stress free. Really enjoying life, just doing my thing riding and training.
MP: I see on Instagram you're freshly back on the bike. Tell me more about the injury and where you're at now.
Cody McCulloch: Yeah I'm back after my injury last year where I ended up breaking my collarbone, cracking my pelvis, and a bruising my lung. I can't even remember the crash but everyone says it was gnarly haha. But I feel great to be back on the bike. There's nothing better for me then riding, it's the first thing I think about when I wake up.
MP: What's it like working with the Cycle Trader Rock River Yamaha crew. They've really stepped up support and are pushing some of the sports elite to the next level.
Cody McCulloch: It's great to be backed up by such a great team. I love being a part of the team with them. Mike, Christina, and everyone else on the team are such great people I can't thank them enough for putting me on the team!
MP: What are your future plans Cody? Where can we count on seeing you line up to race this year?
Cody McCulloch: I'm going to race Oakhill and Freestone this year. Then it's Loretta's and I really haven't made up my mind if I want to go pro after Loretta Lynn's or wait until after Mini O's!
MP: What are your thoughts on the competition this year? There are a ton of racers who could reach and snag a win. What's it going to take to be on the top step?
Cody McCulloch: Yeah there's a lot of guys out there that are capable of winning. I'm giving it my all so I can be at the top of the class, on and off the bike I'm giving it 110%. I want to be on the podium and have a great 2015 season!
MP: Describe Cody McCulloch in one sentence...
Cody McCulloch: A hard worker that's willing to do anything to make his dreams a reality.
MP: Who all is supporting you and making this race season possible?
