Coming from La Moille, IL is the #486 of Chase Sexton. We caught up with with the Illinois athlete to get the details on what's been going on lately and what his plans are for the future.
Chase Sexton: I have been training up in Minnesota with Christian Craig and John Wessling. Before lorrettas its more endurance training. Now that lorrettas is over it's more short high intensity workouts. My training has been going awesome and I'm feeling awesome on the bike!
MP: Give us a recap or your week at Lorettas and how it went.
Chase Sexton: My week at lorrettas was pretty good, I had the speed and fitness but my starts weren't there that week. I have been doing a lot of starts to fix that! The heat was definitely a factor but I think it worked in my favor!
MP: Will you be racing Monster Cup this year?
Chase Sexton: Yes, I will be racing the monster energy cup this year in the amateur all star class. Monster cup is one of my favorite races! I like it because it is something different and I really like riding supercross! It is definitely crazy racing in front of thousands of people, but it really doesn't bother me on the track it just feels like another race!
MP: What have you been up to lately, and what's your plans for the rest of this season?
Chase Sexton: Lately I've just been training up in Minnesota and getting ready for Monster energy cup, Mini O's, and spring nationals next year!

MP: What's the most challenging obstacle that comes with training and racing for you?
Chase Sexton: The most challenging obstacles I think is being 100% focused when riding and training on your goal. I think that is the most important
MP: Out of all the places you have been riding at, where is your favorite place to ride?
