All the way from The Land Down Under, also known as Australia is the # 28 of Mackenzie Tricker. Tricker recently made the trip out to California where she finished a solid 2nd place overall in the WMX class at Glen Helen for the California Classic. Tricker has been working hard both on and off the track, putting miles on her bike, and hours in the gym. Next stop for the WMX series is at Hangtown and Tricker is bringing her A game so watch out.
MP: Training at a facility is crucial with todays competition, what's it like over at Club MX?
Mackenzie Tricker: I have been at Club MX for nearly a year now, I am only here while for the season, I'm always striving to reach the next level and keep a solid fitness base so it's great to be at a place where there's 15-20 kids all pushing for the same thing and are there to push you along, and the days that you don't feel 100% you have that extra motivation. The program changes depending on the time of year, right now we are gearing up for Lorettas and the outdoors so we have been stepping up both time on the track and cardio time off the track. We have days where it will be Moto's then we have days where it's intervals which includes 1 lappers up to 4 lappers and we typically cycle 3-4 days a week.
