The #325 of Stilez Robertson is down but not out. A crash in practice at freestone sent him home early with a broken foot. With 2 weeks still to go the Dunlop Elite team rider is anxious to get back on the bike. Taking advantage of his free time wisely he has been slammin' in the hours doing tons of school work in hopes of finishing this year early. We got a chance to catch up with the one footed fisherman to see what's been crackin' on the west coast.
MP: What's the latest news on your foot, when can we see you back on the track?
Stilez Robertson: I actually fractured my left foot. It's the bone in my foot that leads to my big toe. For the first two weeks I had a cast. It was actually my first cast ever. This past Thursday I had the cast removed And they took more x-Rays. Now I have two weeks in an air boot. Hopefully I will be cleared to ride at my next doctors appointment. Unfortunately I will not be able to race at the California Classic. I plan to get back on my bike in plenty of time to get ready for Mammoth and Loretta Lynn Regionals.
MP: You've had a couple weeks of not being able to ride, what have you been doing In your down time?
Stilez Robertson: In my down time I've been doing a lot of school work. Trying to finish up the school year early. I'm not able to work out so in the evenings I go fishing. I did go bowling in my cast. I just granny rolled the ball and did pretty good! Planning a trip to the driving range. That's pretty much my plan for the next two weeks until I get cleared to go ride!
