Training at MTF is the #23 of Logan Piccirillo. Logan is just now returning from a broken ankle he suffered at Daytona. He recently raced at Aonia Pass for the southeast area qualifier where he qualified in both 250C and 450C. Logan is looking to keep the ball rolling and show up to regionals on his A game. We caught up with Logan to see what he's been up to lately, and what his plans are for this year.
Logan Piccirillo: I train at mtf, and the training is pretty intense, some times we do 30 min motos or sections or just what ever race we are preparing for we will do the appropriate training. I'm just getting back into training again after a month and a half of trying to heal up my ankle I broke at Daytona and it's just now starting to heal to where I can walk normal .
MP: Where was your last race and tell me how it went.
Logan Piccirillo: My last race was at aonia pass, I raced 250c and 450c , it was a tuff weekend for me cuz I was making a lot of mistakes, on Saturday I took first but on Sunday I got the hole shot In my first race and swapped out in the rollers on the first lap and hit my head pretty hard and was in dead last by a ways, and was debating on getting back up and finishing but then I finally did and worked my way back to 8th, then my second Moto was passing for 1st and slid out in the corner and went down and got 8th, so at least I qualified, but it's days like that, that u learn the most.
