Hailing from Lubbock, Texas is none other than the #128 race effort of Carter Halpain. Halpain earned the label of an elite in the amateur motocross community quite some time ago earning himself national wins at tracks across the country at a young age. A seasoned amateur national rider, Carter has teamed up with fellow Texas local Zak Mashburn in an effort to get the most out of his riding in the new year. A rolling style factory himself, Carter and his closest friends can kill it on anything with wheels, especially scooters and dirtbikes. The Yamaha ripper recently chatted with us to let us know just what he's been up to as well as what's on the bright horizon for the young #128 machine in 2015.
MP: Carter, how've you been? What's going on today in the Lone Star state?
Carter Halpain: I'm good today, back home in [Lubbock, Texas] it's snowing. Thank goodness I'm in the Dallas area and it's just raining.
