Addison Emory burst onto the scene several years ago making a grand statement at Loretta Lynn's in the C class. Continuing to make waves as he has battled through the ranks, Emory is progressing further into the premier level of amateur motocross. The sacrifices a family living the moto life faces are something many know all too well, however with Emory's strong family based support team he is continuing to win the fight and chase the dream.
Addison Emory: I first got interested when I was around five and I watched Ricky Carmichael ride. My mom was a server at Applebee's and one of her regulars Tim Schmelyun gave her a motocross magazine and it had a Honda XR50 in it. I bugged them every day to get me one and they finally did. Then I rode that everyday in the back yard until they took me to a race at Hurricane Hills. I got second at my first race and the next day my dad bought me a Cobra 50 and that's it.
