KTM Orange Brigade rider, Pierce Brown is no rookie to crossing the checker flag first. The Team Dunlop Elite rider put the power to the ground at the California Classic, coming away with a championship in the Supermini Class. Pierce plans to stay on the grind training both on and off the track to come out swinging at Mammoth. We caught up with Pierce to see what's going to be the game plan for the rest of the year and what races he plans on hitting.
MP: Your last race, where was it, and how did it go?
Pierce Brown: My last race as far as nationals go was Cali Classic. I was hoping to do better in the 85 class but I ended up winning the supermini class. Bummed for Derek Drake though, it's never good to win when your competition gets hurt. Other than that I've just been doing local races running my supermini in the schoolboy class. There's definitely a lot of fast guys in the schoolboy, especially when Garrett (Marchbanks) shows up!
